Villefranche-sur-Mer: A Historic Gem on the French Riviera

Villefranche-sur-Mer is a picturesque coastal town on the French Riviera, nestled between Nice and Monaco. It is famous for its colorful Mediterranean architecture, vibrant port, and stunning views of the azure waters of the Côte d’Azur.

Founded in 1295 by Charles II of Anjou, the town served as a key military and commercial port throughout its history.
