Snowy Chinese New Year: A Magical Celebration in Northeast China

Have you ever dreamt of celebrating Chinese New Year in a place blanketed by snow? Look no further than the Greater Khingan Mountains in Heilongjiang, Northeast China. This renowned snowscape transforms into a winter wonderland every year, engulfed in deep snow.

Nestled beside the pristine forest, wooden houses stand cloaked in white, their roofs piled high with snow like miniature castles. Red lanterns adorn each home, casting a cheerful glow that paints the snow-covered ground crimson.

When night falls, the glow of lanterns and stars intertwine, illuminating the entire snow village. Snowflakes shimmer under the light, creating a mesmerizing scene.

Inside the houses, families gather around warm and steaming New Year’s Eve dinners. Feasting tables overflow with delicious dishes like dumplings, fish, and chicken. Laughter and stories fill the air, warming the atmosphere with heartfelt joy.
